Black
he paints
colors he dabbles
round bodies eyes and smiles
the people are happy or mad never alone
I love seeing our family painted, bold strokes, by six year old hands
Thumbs up, ball caps, lopsided hearts, his family
we live in his world
painted by him
with love
colored

Visiting you via "A Picture Speaks." Sometimes 6-year-olds see what the rest of us don't. Nice poem and photo.
Mary - thanks for coming by. I agree, he often sees things that I don't or in ways I never thought of.

mind blowing.
you rock.
Morning - why thank you so much! *smiles*
ahhh that was beautiful. It's so much fun to see them color and design in their own young fashion. They see so much better, purer, deeper than we do. I love the way small ones draw people with their arms and heads disconnected and somehow along the way, they learn to connect the body parts because someone tells them to. But really, aren't we all sort of disconnected? Maybe they see something a little more clearly than we do.
Blessings,
Mel

Mel - thank you for coming by. I love how Luke draws and paints people, he sees the inside spirit as well as the body. It's wonderful to experience!
