Snowy Run

The ever present ravens keep us company, follow the cows and play with the dogs.
You have not experienced that play until you see a raven and a dog playing tug-a-war with a dead muskrat.

The only things Feathers loves to do more than chase cows and stare down squirrels is to run and cuddle on the bed. She does love to run!

Our Feather girl, rescue dog, cattle herder and friend.

Scrabble Poem

Red ink jesters call,
"Lo! where fly the wrens?"
While a joyous few pace.

Ahchoo!

The moon achoo rises silent and sniffle sneeze full.

Clouds ah ah ah drape her like thbluuee silk.

Sniff snuffle She teases us with ah ah ah her soft light.

Through the window achoo achoo she washes me pale.

Drip drip sniffle I wish I was dreaming achooo but instead

BLACHOWWWEEE I'm awake and can't even think ah ah ah.

Foggy Frosty Day

Rain, fog and a frosty morning bring so many interesting textures to light.

Can you guess what this is?  It is a macro shot!

Just love the leaves on the Chinese Elm.

I love spider webs, frosted spider webs rock it to another dimension!

Frosted raspberry leaves.

Frosted and purple!

Old iron wheel adds another dimension doesn't it?

That's a frosty seat to wake you up!

Tika enjoying the foggy pasture.

Last hurrah for the pansy's!

Sunflowers, spider webs and sigh...fall.

Still vibrant under a coating of ice and frost.

Foggy, frosty day - perfect for enjoying by the fire!

Poem: Conference Call

Phone tucked into my shoulder, conference call in my ear.
Listening, understanding, nodding my head to a computer screen.
Sounds of playing little boy and barking dogs.
Traffic going down the road, where do they all go anyway?

Phone on mute, little man with questions, dogs telling tales in the yard.
Listening, taking some notes, wondering when we'll get to the point.
Sounds of the birds, cows and horses.
Traffic going across the floor, another car chase my little man?

Phone battery starting to weaken, I hear the warning beeps.
Listening and wondering when I'll be able to sneak a handset change.
Sounds of people on the call - paper, pens, cars and families.
Traffic going across my screen - games, emails, messages and chats.
